Definitions

Years to save	The number of years you have to save.
Amount to save	The amount you wish to have in savings at the end of this savings plan.
Amount currently saved	Total you currently saved or have toward this saving's goal.
Savings per month	The amount you will contribute each month to your investments.
Expected rate of return	Annual rate of return on your savings. For example, the long-term rate of return for the stock market is about 11%. A savings account earns 2% to 5%.
Expected inflation rate	What you expect for the average long-term inflation rate.
