Farm Credit honors Gilbert “Shag” Rogers

Gary Dyer, President & CEO of Farm Credit Services Southwest, along with the Board and staff, recently gathered together to honor Gilbert “Shag” Rogers, who served as a director for more than 34 years.

At the gathering, Gary spoke about Shag’s tireless service to the association, and presented him with a plaque that read, “With our gratitude and appreciation for your service to the board of directors.” The plaque also displayed a Farm Credit Services Southwest belt buckle.

Shag and his wife Shirley, are long-time Laveen residents and lifetime farmers who grew cotton and vegetables and raised cattle here in Arizona.
